On a spring evening in Dillon, South Carolina, the life of 21-year-old Lorenzo Emanuel Jones was cut short. On April 1, 2026, he was found deceased, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. The Dillon County Sheriff's Office was called to Sugar Hill Road where they discovered Jones's body, initiating a homicide investigation into the violent death of the young man from Mullins.
