In the pre-dawn hours of April 2, 2026, the life of Marvin Ray McCowen, a 42-year-old man, was tragically cut short in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident unfolded in the Hawthorne neighborhood, a community that has experienced periods of concern regarding gun violence.
