In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in DeKalb County, a heated argument shattered the predawn quiet, leaving a man with fatal injuries. The victim was 50-year-old Tywarn Jones. The dispute took place in the 5500 block of Marbut Road, where Jones was shot and seriously wounded. Following the altercation, a witness at the scene took Jones from the location of the shooting and drove him onto Interstate 285 southbound. Near the Glenwood Road exit, the witness stopped and called for help.
