Santonio Beard, a 41-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on February 4, 2022, in Lithonia, Georgia. Beard, a former standout running back for the Alabama Crimson Tide, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the 5700 block of Windfall Lane, where officers from the DeKalb County Police Department responded to a call and found Beard along with another man who had also been shot.
