On February 6, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred outside a Zaxby's restaurant located on the 2300 block of Panola Road in Lithonia, Georgia. The victim, 24-year-old Kenyon Jones, was involved in an altercation with another individual inside the restaurant. Following the argument, Jones walked outside, where he was followed and shot multiple times by the assailant.
