On the evening of April 8, 2026, in Jackson, Mississippi, 18-year-old Joel Terrell was at a residence in the 900 block of Valencia Street when tragedy struck. Shortly before 9:00 p.m., unidentified individuals fired multiple shots into the home where several people were gathered. The hail of gunfire resulted in two individuals being struck.
