In the evening hours of Friday, April 10, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the night on a street in Southeast Washington, D.C., leaving a young man's life cut short. Deangelo Scott, a 25-year-old resident of Southeast, D.C., was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 3000 block of 30th Street. The incident occurred at approximately 8:34 p.m., prompting a swift response from Seventh District officers of the Metropolitan Police Department.
