In the summer of 2009, the life of 19-year-old Brandon A. Haugabook was tragically cut short on the streets of Buffalo, New York. On the evening of July 10th, the young man was fatally shot near the intersection of Paderewski Drive and Townsend Street on the city's East Side. The incident was one of three separate homicides that occurred in Buffalo within a short period, though law enforcement officials at the time stated there appeared to be no connection between the tragic events.
