Stephen Santiago, a 30-year-old man from Buffalo, New York, was shot and killed on December 30, 2009. He was found on Niagara Street, where he had been shot multiple times in what authorities described as a targeted attack. Santiago was known to his community, and his murder came during a period of increased gun violence in Buffalo.
