Wilfrid Lawrence "Woody" Faherty, a 20-year-old from Redondo Beach, California, was tragically murdered in August 1976. His body was discovered on August 28, 1976, along Otay Lakes Road, approximately five miles east of Chula Vista city limits. The circumstances of his death were particularly harrowing, as he was found with a gunshot wound to the head, indicative of an execution-style killing.
