In the early hours of a cold January morning in Binghamton, New York, Christopher J. Lewis, known to his friends as 'Louee,' was walking on the city's West Side. It was around 2:30 a.m. on January 3, 2010, near 161 Main Street, when the 47-year-old man's life was cut tragically short. A vehicle struck him and fled the scene, leaving him gravely injured in the roadway. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to the severe injuries he sustained in the hit-and-run.
