In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Houston, the life of 35-year-old Robert Brook was tragically cut short by an act of gun violence. On March 1, 2026, Brook was discovered inside a business located at 1177 Greens Road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The grim discovery was made at approximately 11:05 p.m., prompting a swift response from Houston Police Department patrol officers.
Emergency services from the Houston Fire Department arrived at the scene and transported Brook
to a nearby hospital. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he was pronounced deceased. The initial investigation by HPD Homicide Division detectives suggests that the fatal shooting did not occur at the Greens Road business where Brook was found. Instead, authorities believe the shooting took place in the 16000 block of West Hardy Road.
