On May 1, 2024, at approximately 4:20 a.m., Houston police responded to a shooting at a convenience store located at 6802 Cullen Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Eric Johnson unresponsive in the parking lot, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
