In the early hours of March 4, 2026, the life of 37-year-old Jody Lynn Ross, a white male, was tragically cut short in Leesburg, Florida. Police responded to a call of a man shot multiple times at the Parkside Apartments on West Dixie Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Ross on the ground outside with several gunshot wounds. He was rushed to UF Health Leesburg Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
