On July 8, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the Overlook at Lake Griffin neighborhood in Leesburg, Florida. The victim, 20-year-old James Jordan, was found lying in the front yard of a home in the 2200 block of Aitkin Loop around 2:30 p.m..
Jordan had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
