On August 6, 2012, Wilson George was shot and killed in Leesburg, Florida. The Leesburg Police Department responded to a shooting call at approximately 1:45 a.m. near 1704 Birchwood Circle. George had been out for the evening and was returning home when he was shot just about 100 feet from his front door. He was transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. George was reportedly unarmed, and his family indicated that he had no known enemies, making the motive for this crime ...Read More
