In the fading daylight of a Sunday evening on San Antonio's West Side, a life was abruptly cut short. Justice Xavier Hansel Lee, a 25-year-old man, was fatally shot on March 8, 2026, following a disturbance involving several people. The incident unfolded around 6 p.m. in the 8600 block of Waters Edge Drive, near Loop 410 and Marbach Road, at the Cable Ranch Apartments. When the sound of gunfire dissipated, Lee was left with a fatal wound to his upper body.
