On the evening of March 9, 2026, violence interrupted the quiet of the Hedgeville neighborhood in Wilmington, Delaware, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Darrin Mason. A man in the prime of his life, Mason was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 100 block of South Harrison Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. Emergency responders rushed him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
