In the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the calm of a Baton Rouge neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire, leaving a 32-year-old man, Johnathan Archille, dead. The fatal incident unfolded around 2:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of North 49th Street.
