Patrick White, 29, was a Black man in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, whose last hours began in the early evening of June 26, 2024, at a convenience store corner where people drifted in and out as the day faded. Around 6 p.m., along Bogan Walk near North Acadian Thruway, a confrontation flared outside, and what witnesses and investigators would later describe as an argument turned violent in an instant.
