On November 2, 2010, Augustine Garcia, age 20, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Cathedral City, California. Garcia, along with Yanize Mora, age 16, and four others, were shot when a car approached and its occupants opened fire on the group. The incident occurred in the 67100 block of Assistencia as Mora and her partner Moises Sanudo were introducing their infant son to friends.
