Marquayle Lee, age 26, was fatally shot on May 15, 2012, during a violent incident in Martin Luther King Park in Buffalo, New York. The shooting, which took place at a park gathering, also left four other individuals injured, with some sustaining permanent injuries, including paralysis and blindness. The shooter, Tariq Brown, was later charged as part of an ongoing investigation into the Bailey Boys gang, a criminal organization operating on Buffalo's East Side.
