On a cold January afternoon in 2017, the life of Paul J. Byrd, a 46-year-old Black man from Buffalo, New York, was tragically cut short. On January 9th, at approximately 4 o'clock, Byrd was seated in the driver's seat of a vehicle on Cornwall Avenue when he was ambushed.
