Dustin Ortiz, age 27, was tragically killed on January 5, 2014, in Buffalo, New York. He was fatally shot four times by Christian O. Dalmau during a dispute over an unpaid drug debt. The shooting occurred on Newfield Street, and within 20 minutes of the incident, Dalmau was apprehended by the Buffalo Police. Dalmau, who was also involved in a large-scale cocaine trafficking network, was later sentenced to 28 years in federal prison for his role in the murder and drug-related crimes.
