In the late hours of Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the life of 23-year-old Marquise Leondre Tillman was tragically cut short in Beaumont, Texas. Responding to reports of multiple gunshots just before 10 p.m., Beaumont police discovered Tillman unresponsive with several gunshot wounds near the roadway at the Pointe North Apartments in the 3700 block of Magnolia Street. Emergency medical services were called to the scene, but Tillman was pronounced dead.
