On October 13, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Beaumont, Texas, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Gregory "GEE" Lee Carrington Jr. The fatal shooting took place in the early hours of Sunday morning after Carrington left a local club named Tha Shack. According to Beaumont Police, a disturbance that began at the club premises escalated and spilled out onto the street, where the shooting occurred.
