In the quiet hours of a Tuesday evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a tragedy unfolded that would mark the city's first homicide of the year. On January 27, 2026, 46-year-old Lynse Luther was found with a gunshot wound in her home. Alongside her was her boyfriend, 45-year-old Jeremy Ball, who appeared to have a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The grim discovery was made after Ball's mother, who lived across the street, called 911 around 5:15 p.m.
