On the evening of January 28, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Pasadena neighborhood, leaving a local man fatally wounded. The victim was identified as Jose Garcia, a 42-year-old Hispanic male. The incident unfolded at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the 300 block of Ashtabula Street.
