Clarence E. Peck, a 38-year-old police officer from Pasadena, California, tragically lost his life due to an accidental gunshot wound on August 1, 1911. Officer Peck and another officer were responding to a domestic disturbance at a residence on North Broadway. During the incident, they discovered several small rags that had been set on fire.
