On March 23, 1957, eight-year-old Tommy Bowman vanished while on a brief hike in the Arroyo Seco area near Pasadena, California. Tommy was visiting family in Altadena and had run ahead of his cousins, eager to reach the car first. However, he disappeared without a trace, prompting a massive search effort involving police, residents, and even helicopters. Despite these efforts, no sign of Tommy was found, and the case went cold for decades.
