In the late afternoon of February 2, 2026, a shooting shattered the quiet of a Goldsboro, North Carolina neighborhood. The life of 28-year-old Demartquise Tiquez Swinson, a man from nearby La Grange, was irrevocably altered in the 400 block of East New Hope Road.
