On the evening of December 28, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia, a burst of gunfire shattered the calm, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. John Earl Oliver Jr., a 24-year-old male, was found outside a residence in the 600 block of W. Gwinnett Street with gunshot wounds. The call to authorities came in at approximately 6:18 p.m., and though life-saving measures were attempted at the scene, Oliver succumbed to his injuries.
