On December 14, 2023, at approximately 8:11 PM, the Mount Holly Police Department received multiple reports of gunshots near the intersection of Piedmont Avenue and Dodge Street in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered two 19-year-old males, Jaylan Marray Jackson and Jayden Dae’Shun Munson, both from Concord, NC, inside a vehicle. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
