On the night of December 31, 2025, in Tamarac, Florida, the life of 16-year-old Orlando Wedderburn was tragically cut short. First responders were dispatched to a residence in the 7900 block of Northwest 71st Avenue around 10:10 p.m. following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered the young male suffering from a gunshot wound. An adult female at the scene was also treated for a minor graze wound.
