On the evening of January 8, 2026, the life of 22-year-old Tajon Brown was tragically cut short in a shooting in the Tulane-Gravier neighborhood of New Orleans. Just after 9:30 p.m., officers from the New Orleans Police Department were dispatched to the 2600 block of Gravier Street following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they found Brown suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
