In the early morning hours of November 30, 2025, a dispute that began over a minor vehicle accident outside a Silsbee, Texas nightclub escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the lives of two men, including 29-year-old Khalil Ahmadrian Gooch of Kountze. The incident unfolded around 2:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Fresenius Road. Gooch, along with 36-year-old Henry Carey Jr., also from Kountze, were discovered deceased at the scene with gunshot wounds.
