Medina Ahmed Abdulkader, a 23-year-old woman, was killed on November 25, 2010, in San Francisco’s Japantown neighborhood. The incident occurred near the intersection of Buchanan Street and Geary Boulevard around 8:55 p.m. on Thanksgiving night. Abdulkader was shot to death in what police described as a targeted attack, although details regarding the motive remain unclear.
