The discovery was made along Tuckaseegee Road, in the vicinity of the Tuckaseegee Recreation Center, after the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to a call for assistance from MEDIC shortly after 8:00 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers found Ford suffering from a gunshot wound.
