In the early morning hours of Sunday, December 7, 2025, a violent incident unfolded in the 300 block of Buckbee Street in Rockford, Illinois. Officers from the Rockford Police Department were dispatched to the scene around 1:15 a.m. after ShotSpotter technology detected gunfire in the area near Blackhawk Courts.
