On a cold Christmas Eve in Buffalo, New York, the festive spirit was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 24-year-old Matthew Tucker. An African-American male, Tucker was found with gunshot wounds on Klaus Street just before 10:30 p.m. on December 24, 2014. The holiday celebrations of many were tragically interrupted by the news of this young man's death.
