The rural community of Lenox in Dyer County, Tennessee, was the scene of a violent domestic tragedy on the morning of December 18, 2025, that resulted in the death of 60-year-old male William John Lydon Jr. Deputies from the Dyer County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence on Tar Hill Road following reports of a shooting.
