On the evening of Saturday, December 20, 2025, a violent incident unfolded at a hotel in St. Louis County, Missouri, resulting in the death of 47-year-old male Jason D. Manes. Officers from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Affton Southwest Precinct were dispatched to the Americas Best Value Inn located in the 6600 block of South Lindbergh Boulevard in Affton at approximately 9:33 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
