On a grim Friday morning in Elkhart, Indiana, the life of 28-year-old Dakota Jasmine Barnes, a Caucasian female, was tragically cut short. The date was November 14, 2025, when a series of gunshots shattered the peace of a neighborhood on County Road 16. When deputies from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene, they discovered a harrowing sight in the driveway of a residence.
