Annasue 'Annie' Rocha, a 19-year-old female, was fatally shot on January 27, 2025, while working at the Martin's Supermarket on East Jackson Boulevard in Elkhart, Indiana. The incident unfolded at approximately 5:45 p.m. when a lone gunman, identified as 54-year-old Juan M. Sanchez, entered the store. Sanchez, who had recently moved to the area from Illinois, was in the store for about 20 minutes before the shooting began.
