Jesse Cormier, a 45-year-old male from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident at a bar in Butte La Rose on the night of March 27, 2025. The fatal encounter occurred just before midnight at a local establishment known as The Butte Bar, situated along the Atchafalaya River Highway. Authorities responded to a distress call at approximately 11:48 p.m. and discovered Cormier deceased at the scene, having suffered a gunshot wound.
