In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 2, 2025, a domestic dispute in a residence on the 3000 block of P Street, Southeast, in Washington, D.C., turned fatal, leaving 56-year-old Richard Walker dead from a gunshot wound. Metropolitan Police Department officers from the Sixth District responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 8:52 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Walker unconscious and not breathing.
