In the quiet evening of Sunday, November 2, 2025, the life of a dedicated law enforcement officer, 32-year-old James Dotson Jr., was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. An eight-year veteran of the Hinds County Sheriff's Office, Dotson, who held the rank of sergeant at the Raymond Detention Center, was found deceased inside a home on Dorgan Street.
