He was visiting a woman he had recently started dating, 26-year-old Kianna Stukes, at her family's apartment in the Castle Hill Houses on Lacombe Avenue. What was meant to be a simple visit ended in a horrific act of violence that claimed four lives.
Police were called to the fifth-floor apartment for a wellness check and discovered a devastating scene.
Inside, they found the bodies of Andrew, Kianna, her 75-year-old grandmother, Theresa Stukes, and Kianna's 44-year-old father, Kaseem Stukes. All four had suffered fatal gunshot wounds, and a firearm was recovered at the scene. Investigators quickly determined the incident to be a triple murder-suicide, with Kaseem Stukes as the sole perpetrator.
In the wake of the tragedy, it was revealed that Kaseem Stukes had been struggling with significant mental health issues, including paranoia and depression. On the morning of the killings, he was reportedly seen wandering the apartment building in a disturbed state. It is believed that he shot and killed his mother, his daughter, and Andrew before taking his own life. As the alleged shooter is deceased, police have not made any arrests and are not seeking any other suspects in connection with the deaths.
