Tevon Beasley, a 17-year-old male from Decatur, was shot on the night of October 24, 2025, at a business in the 1100 block of East Wood Street. Officers responding around 10:10 p.m. found him with at least one gunshot wound; he was taken by ambulance to Decatur Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
