In the late hours of a Saturday night in Selma, Alabama, a dispute at a barbecue would tragically escalate, leading to the death of 59-year-old Pollard Moultrie. On October 25, 2025, in the 100 block of Beech Creek Lane, Moultrie was shot and fatally wounded at an apartment complex.

According to Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford, officers responded to a call of shots fired at 11:50 p.m.. Upon their arrival, they discovered Moultrie suffering from a gunshot wound. He was initially transport ...
