Pollard Moultrie, 59, male, was shot late on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the 100 block of Beech Creek Lane in Selma. Police said officers responded around 11:50 p.m. and found him suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Vaughan Regional Medical Center and then airlifted to UAB, where he died. His death was recorded as the city’s 10th homicide of the year.
