In the late hours of a Saturday night in Selma, Alabama, a dispute at a barbecue would tragically escalate, leading to the death of 59-year-old Pollard Moultrie. On October 25, 2025, in the 100 block of Beech Creek Lane, Moultrie was shot and fatally wounded at an apartment complex.
